cry baby & mommy

being a mom is hard! especially when your baby is having a meltdown and you want to join them. Kamden was beyond exhausted last night and of course I was too being that I only got 4 hours of sleep the night before and no nap (yes, I absolutely NEED naps too)... so he kept falling over and being clumsy; falling back and hitting his head on the carpet, falling over from standing up, etc. I could feel the meltdown coming because as we were eating dinner he was uninterested and I was such a space cadet!! I put my spoon in my cup of Coke instead of the bowl... the stir fry floating in my soda made me want to cry lol! after I picked Kamden up off the floor from his fall, we were walking into the kitchen to clean up dinner and BAM! I was walking too close to the wall and hit his poor head on the edge of the wall making him BURST into tears!! GOD I STILL FEEL LIKE SHIT FOR THAT ACCIDENT!! I put a frozen bag of veggies on his head and made him a bottle while my roommate offered to help me (I was starting to cry) and cleaned the kitchen up for me. Once he got his bottle he was completely fine aside from the red knot on his head :( all in all our meltdown ended with a great cuddle sesh and tickling his back till he fell asleep.

Here he is being silly with the Coke bottle we found for his Aunt Whitney (:
